The Atlanta Falcons lead the Denver Broncos 13-3 at halftime. Falcons running back Devonta Freeman scored the lone touchdown of the half on fourth-and-goal in the first quarter.
Freeman had 12 carries for 48 yards, and Atlanta's other tailback, Tevin Coleman, ran the ball five times for 30 yards. They gashed the Broncos defense up the middle.
Offensively, Denver hasn't been able to get much going. Rookie quarterback Paxton Lynch is 3 for 8 for only 45 yards. He hasn't received much help on the ground, as the Broncos ran the ball 14 times for a 44 yards (3.1 yards per carry).
