The Denver Post described Deonta McDonald as “a leader of peers in a neighborhood where gang affiliation was a given for most youths.”

McDonald, also known as “D” or “Slim,” was gunned down on Oct. 12 on the 1300 block of South Birch Street. He was 19. Now, Metro Denver Crime Stoppers is offering up to $2,000 for information that helps in the prosecution of the crime.

People with information can anonymously call 720-913-7867, the tip line for Crime Stoppers.
