Two days after he got his fourth-straight Gold Glove, Colorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado won another major award.

Arenado received the Silver Slugger Award, which is given to the top hitter at each position in both leagues. Teammate Charlie Blackmon, who plays center field, also won a Silver Slugger.

Arenado hit an MLB-best 133 RBIs and was tied for the most home runs in the NL with 41. This year was his second consecutive 40-home-run, 130-RBI season.

Blackmon smashed 29 home runs and slashed .324/.552/.933. All were career-best marks, and he led all leadoff hitters in dingers.

Arenado is 25, while Blackmon is 29. They are two key pieces of a Rockies’ hitting order that looks downright terrifying in 2017.
