Remember Jamal Murray's 0-for-16 start to the season?
In the first four games of his NBA career, the Denver Nuggets rookie guard didn't make a field goal. It was somewhat concerning for the No. 7 overall pick in the NBA Draft, who drilled a staggering 113 3-pointers in his lone season at Kentucky.
In the last six games, however, Murray has looked more and more like the sharpshooter he was in college. He's sunk 25 of 57 field goals, including 13 of 31 3-pointers, since the Nuggets' Nov. 5 game against the Pistons.
Murray played his finest game of the season in Denver's loss to the Portland Trail Blazers on Sunday. He scored 19 points on 6-for-12 shooting and drilled 5 of 9 3-pointers.
He's averaging 11.9 points on 43.8 percent shooting in 22.5 minutes over the last six games. Not bad for someone who's 19 years old. Murray has the potential to be a special offensive player, and we're starting to see flashes of it already.
