Aurora police search for 6-year-old who went missing New Year’s Eve

Aurora police are looking for a young boy who went missing Saturday evening from an area near South Chambers Road and East Yale Avenue.

David Puckett, 6, went missing at about 5:30 p.m. Saturday from the 15700 block of East Amherst Place. Officers and community members searched the area Sunday but did not locate the boy.

David was last seen wearing camouflage pants, a black shirt, tan coat and black and orange boots. He is described as having brown eyes, weighing 48 pounds and being 4 feet tall.

Police said the boy is at risk and has a history of wandering. They are asking anyone that sees him to call 911.
