Zillow based their analysis on their forecast for home values, recent income growth, and current unemployment rates.
And just like other elements of the housing market, Denver is not equally hot across the metro. In fact, the two neighborhoods that Zillow expects to grow the most in terms of home value are in Aurora, not Denver.
Much to my surprise, those two neighborhoods, City Center North and Centretech, aren’t even along the A Line. Rather, both sit near the intersection of Interstate 225 and 6th Avenue.
Right behind them are a few more familiar neighborhoods — Elyria-Swansea and Globeville.
Seeing those two places in the context of real estate, rather than development projects perhaps means that the march of gentrification has indeed made it to their doorsteps. Perhaps that will come with more efforts to preserve the community that’s called it home for so long.
