If you love skiing in Colorado, it helps to tolerate driving too. But as the return of the ski train to Winter Park has reminded us, it really is possible to get to the slopes without stepping on the pedal.
The ski train, in my professional opinion, is the absolute best option if you've got the money and the Winter Park pass – but there also are a number of decent bus services, including the SnowStang service that will debut for a pilot run this Saturday, Feb. 11 and Feb. 25 (with free wi-fi!) to A-Basin, Beaver Creek, Breckenridge, Keystone, Vail, and Winter Park.
It's kind of hard to explain the sum total of transportation options, but the Colorado Public Interest Research Group, a nonprofit foundation, has thankfully put together a really helpful guide.
Check out their guide here – complete with departure times and prices – choose your route, and let us know how it goes.
