In response to the rally to defund Planned Parenthood this morning, Coloradans gathered in Skyline Park to voice their support of the healthcare centers.

With upwards of 1,000 people in attendance, the Colorado Stands with Planned Parenthood rally vastly outnumbered the 200 or so people who attended the anti-abortion action earlier in the day.

Skyline Park was chosen for this action because it sits beneath U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner's downtown Denver office. The space has been the site of a number of protests in recent weeks.

In addition to listening to speakers, protesters wrote letters to Gardner and donated money to Planned Parenthood.

Despite the fact that Democrats are really mad at Cory Gardner, he is not necessarily vulnerable for a loss when he goes up for reelection.
