Report: Suspect shot by Commerce City Police in Denver

A man was shot this morning by police on the 7200 block of 47th Avenue, west of Stapleton, according to Denver police.

The man's wounds are not life threatening, according to Denver police. An "outside agency" was involved in the shooting, DPD reported.

The suspect was shot by Commerce City Police just inside Denver's border with its neighboring city at around 5:25 a.m., according to 9News. The circumstances of the shooting remained unclear as of 7 a.m.
