Colorado Attorney General Cynthia Coffman told U.S. News that, in light of comments by longtime legal weed opponent U.S. Attorney General Jeff Sessions, Colorado pot businesses "should be considering how they can protect their investment and they should talk to their attorneys."
Sessions has recently said he's met with the Nebraska attorney general who unsuccessfully sued Colorado over marijuana. He also said experts have told him that there's "more violence around marijuana than one would think."
Coffman also told U.S. News, "We’ll send him a letter and say, 'You need to come to Colorado and visit us and see what we’re doing with regulation and enforcement before coming in with some sort of edict.'"
