Starting point guard Jameer Nelson might miss the Denver Nuggets road game against the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night.

The veteran point guard is dealing with an illness and is questionable, the team announced.

His potential absence could mean rookie Jamal Murray gets a chance to start at point guard. Emmanuel Mudiay, who's been relegated to third-string point guard since he came back from a back injury in late February, would theoretically be the backup if Nelson can't go.
