Denver Zoo makes an appearance in SNL skit with Scarlett Johansson
The Denver Zoo has one real baby giraffe, one recent appearance on Saturday Night Live and zero people ever employed as an “animal pornographer.”
Still, last night’s Saturday Night Live skit set at the Denver Zoo managed to sneak in enough details to make the skit about an “animal pornographer” feel plausible. Check it out for yourself if you’re watching somewhere that sexual innuendo is ok.
By my count, here are the regional references:
- Orange and blue header for the news station, hat tip to The Know.

- I-25 reference, with a deduction for calling it “the I-25”
- Denver Zoo logo on actor Keenan Thompson’s shirt
