Bamboo Sushi is moving out of Avanti Food & Beverage, opening space for QuickFish Poke Bar to move in this July.

The fast-casual poke restaurant will be on the second floor of the eatery and restaurant incubator, and will be one of seven concepts housed there. It'll offer "chef-curated" poke bowls, plus the option to build your own bowl, running between $10 and $14.

Among the menu's choices: the Bamboo Bowl, with MSC Oregon albacore, avocado, fried shallots, green onion, nori, sweet onion and green machine sauce, and the Fire Bowl, with Kodiak sockeye, red onion, kaiware, cucumber, candied Thai chili and creamy habanero masago sauce.

QuickFish was created by Sustainable Restaurant Group, which also developed Bamboo Sushi.

“We’ve had so much fun, and learned a great deal, being part of the Avanti collective and introducing our sustainably sourced seafood to Denver foodies,” Kristofor Lofgren, owner of Bamboo Sushi, said in a statement. “QuickFish will continue our mission and passion of bringing the freshest and best fish possible, while simultaneously helping to save the oceans and marine life. We are not your average poke shop. Our bowls are fast, healthy and craveable and made with sushi-grade sustainable fish and chef inspired ingredients that add a modern twist to a classic Hawaiian favorite.”

Bamboo Sushi will be back in business at its own brick-and-mortar location sometime this summer.

QuickFish will be open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday through Saturday.
