Police this morning investigated a death near Speer Boulevard and 13th Avenue.

There was a “large police presence” as of 7 a.m., according to Denver Police Department, but KDVR reports the scene was cleared by 7:45 a.m.

ABC7 reports that a dive team was dispatched to help in removing the body, which was found “face down along the creek.”

Authorities haven’t yet identified the person whose body was found.
