The odds were overwhelming the Denver Nuggets would remain in the 13th spot after the NBA Draft Lottery, and that's what wound up happening Tuesday.

The Nuggets will pick 13th at the NBA Draft on June 22.

They had a 2.2 percent chance of moving up and getting a top-three pick after finishing the 2016-17 season 40-42. They have never moved up in the lottery. Denver has moved down eight times and retained its position seven times.

The Nuggets appear to be set at guard with Jamal Murray, Gary Harris and Emmanuel Mudiay, and at center with Nikola Jokic. Their biggest area of need is at forward. DraftExpress currently has Denver taking Indiana forward OG Anunoby.
