Good afternoon. Denver’s looking at a likely chance of storms and maybe a thunderstorm today, especially after 5 p.m. The storm watch may produce small hail, brief periods of heavy rain and wind gusts up to 50 mph, according to National Weather Service.
To our friends in the mountains: It ain’t over yet. NWS is predicting 2 to 5 inches of snow in the higher mountains, with light accumulations in the valleys and foothills. Snow showers may drop as low as 7,000 feet.
Showers and thunderstorms may continue to roll around on Tuesday. It’s probably a good time to get reacquainted with lightning safety.
The storms will continue to roll in this Thursday through Sunday, per NWS.
