Good morning. The high today for Denver is 84 degrees, and we’ve got a 40 percent chance of storms this afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

If they hit, the storms should bring heavy rain, but only briefly.

Tomorrow’s a similar deal, but it should be a little warmer and a little less stormy. Friday through Saturday are highs near or above 90 and clear skies — 94 on Saturday, to be specific. That’s well above average.

Be aware that accelerated snowmelt will put more water in rivers and creeks.
