It's too hot to do much of anything, let alone pay more than list price for a Denver home. I'd like to think that's why 8 percent less new Denver homeowners paid over list price last week compared to the previous week.
Last week, 40 percent of the people who bought a home paid more than its asking price. The differences ranged from $99 extra to a full $55,000 more.
