Denver weather forecast for today, July 28: Scattered thunderstorms and a high of 89 degrees

Put that umbrella in your bag, it looks like of chances of scattered thunderstorms will increase as the day goes on and continue into the weekend.

The day’s high is expected to be about 89 degrees, and the chance of precipitation increases from 30 percent to 40 percent as the day goes on with scattered thunderstorms expected around the city, the National Weather Service.
