5 Denver homes that sold for way over list price last week: Aug. 7 edition

Perhaps the summer home-selling season is finally coming to a close. For the first time in a few months, the share of people who paid under list price was bigger than the share of people who paid over list price.

Last week, 31 percent of the people who bought a home paid more than its asking price. (Almost 41 percent of people paid less than asking price.) The different overbids ranged from $1 extra to a full $100,000 more.

Here are the top five overbids of the last week.
