The Colorado radio team Larry & Kathie J has found a curious new home after leaving KS 107.5 FM earlier this year over a contract dispute.

Larry Ulibarri and Kathie J started live broadcasting “Larry & Kathie J’s Blazin’ Hit Radio” from The Green Solution Studios on Monday. The weekday morning program is available exclusively through the new Blazin’ Hit Radio app and will include celebrity interviews, a unique mix of music and fan-favorite bits, according to a news release.

“Kathie J and I, along with our producer WIGNZ, will give fans the content they’ve been missing and then some,” Larry Ulibarri said in a statement. “Without the confines of corporate radio, the show will sound like nothing you’ve heard before.”

Ulibarri and Kathie J became “disillusioned with the strictures imposed by corporate radio” after more than a decade entertaining morning listeners. The hosts partnered with The Green Solution earlier this year, and the Denver-based pot shop operator built a state-of-the-art audio and video production facility to air the new show, according to a release.

“We are thrilled to host Larry and Kathie J at our brand new studio; we were fans before we met them,” said Kyle Speidell, co-CEO and co-founder of The Green Solution in a statement. “Larry and Kathie J previously hosted the best morning show in Denver for 15 years, and when the opportunity arose to partner up and provide an entertainment platform that integrates cannabis culture, we couldn’t pass it up.”
