The former site manager of Mile High Hockey, SB Nation’s Colorado Avalanche blog, has filed a collective action lawsuit against her former employer.
Cheryl Bradley is suing Vox Media, SB Nation’s parent company, alleging they failed to properly compensate her for her work overseeing Mile High Hockey.
Bradley, who lives in Centennial, says she worked between 30 and 40 hours per week at SB Nation but only received $125 per month, according to court documents. Her responsibilities included writing five to six articles per week, managing and editing other writers and overseeing the site’s comments section, the lawsuit said.
Deadspin first reported that the lawsuit had been filed.
On Aug. 14, Deadspin published a piece titled “How SB Nation Profits Off An Army Of Exploited Workers.”
