Denver weather: Clear skies, 83 and gusty winds for Sept. 15

It will be clear and somewhat cooler in Denver today, with a high of 83 degrees and clear skies, according to the National Weather Service.

A cold front arrives later in the day, potentially bringing light snow to the higher mountains after midnight, especially above 10,000 feet, NWS forecasts.

Saturday in Denver will cool to a high of 72 degrees, while Sunday will bring 77 degrees and a chance of storms.

Next week, temperatures are expected to fluctuate around the mid 80s and high 70s
