A judge ruled that the cities had shown a “likelihood of success” in their lawsuit against the Justice Department. The temporary injunction will block the Justice Department’s threats to withhold public safety money until the lawsuit can play out in court. (Denverite)

“When they called me they told me about the reunion, I couldn’t believe it’d been 10 years,” Helton said. “Looking back, it was a great time in our lives. To see everybody’s faces, it was great.
