The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is hosting a production of “Macbeth” in its newly reopened in-the-round theater — Space Theatre at Speer Boulevard and Arapahoe Street.

Performances have been sold out, or very close to it, in advance, so get tickets ASAP. As of 11 a.m., there was still space available. They cost $30-65, and the show starts at 6:30 p.m.

Ben Folds is doing the Ben Folds thing tonight at the Ogden Theatre, 935 E. Colfax Ave.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 8 p.m. with opener Tall Heights. Tickets are $39.

There are two options for cartoons-and-comedy-themed trivia this evening.

  1. Chain Reaction Brewing Company, 902 S. Lipan St., is hosting Simpson’s trivia starting at 7:30 p.m. and, of course, there will be prizes. The questions will cover season 1-12.
  2. Ratio Beerworks, 2920 Larimer St., is holding its Ratio Quiz Show from 8-10 p.m. Tonight’s themes are “Rick and Morty” and “Community.” As always, teams in the audience will compete against a team of “experts,” and if an audience team wins, everyone gets cool prizes. If the “expert” panel wins, everyone gets lame prizes. Sign up starts at 8 p.m. and the games begin at 8:30 p.m.
