Good morning. The high in Denver today is 54 degrees and skies are mostly sunny. It could warm to 74 tomorrow, but then it should cool back down for Friday and the weekend, the National Weather Service predicts.

Another storm system arrives on Friday, potentially hitting the mountains with heavy snowfall and high winds. Down on the plains, we'll get a chance of rain and snow showers, but accumulation should be minor here.

The mountains might get 5 to 10 inches through Saturday morning, Joel Gratz forecasts for OpenSnow. It should be an "equal opportunity" provider across both the northern and southern mountains, with some areas maxing out at 15 inches.
