Snow was falling around Denver early on Thursday morning, and forecasters expected it to continue into the afternoon. The plains could get anywhere from 1 to 4 inches, with higher amounts near the foothills, according to the National Weather Service. Snow could fall through about 2 p.m., NWS predicts.
Mountain areas could see 4 to 10 inches today, according to NWS. That will be followed by another storm on Saturday that could bring a maximum of about 6 inches to the mountains and perhaps a bit of snow down here, NWS predicts.
