For the couple on a budget and the highly impulsive, the Denver Office of the Clerk and Recorder is once again offering the gift of free wedding celerations on Valentine’s Day.

If you’re that couple, you’ll just need to show up at the Webb Building, 201 W. Colfax Ave. They’ll be performing ceremonies from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

It’s not totally free, however. A marriage license costs $30.

What they do offer for free, besides the ceremony itself, is food and drink for the couple and drawings for gifts from local businesses, elected officials and other city agencies.
