Waiting for a table at Los Chingones is going to be a lot more pleasant from now on.
The popular taco spot at 25th and Larimer streets is opening Los Lounge — a conjoined bar and dining space inside what used to be SugarMill.
Owner Troy Guard closed SugarMill to last May in order to expand Los Chingones, which since then also got a new location in Stapleton. There are now three Los Chingones locations — Stapleton, Denver Tech Center and the original Larimer Street spot.
Starting March 27, Los Lounge will be open from 4 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
They'll serve the full Los Chingones menu until 9 p.m., then switch to an abbreviated late night menu. It's a good option whether you want a full Los Chingones meal (but in a lounge setting), a place to sip a cocktail while you wait for table or an end-of-the-night snack.
