Bon Appétit announced its list of the 10 Best New Restaurants in America for 2018 this morning, and Denver’s Call made the cut.
It was the only Colorado restaurant to crack the top 50, and today it sneaks onto the list in the No. 10 spot among restaurants in Oklahoma City, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Oakland,Washington, D.C., Cambridge, Mass., and both Portlands.
“The best meal of all time is the accidental long, boozy lunch. And the best new place to have it is at this all-day hang, with its crimson-red spritzes and endless selection of snacky things,” reporter Christina Chaey writes. “Don’t be surprised if you arrive at 10 a.m. and are still there at 2 p.m.”
Hours at Call, 2845 Larimer St., are 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Wednesday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. They also take orders for pickup through the website.
