David Sachs is coming to Denverite after years running Streetsblog Denver

Yes, there’s another new face here at Denverite this fall. David Sachs is joining the Denverite team as our city government reporter.
You probably already know his name. David is the founder and editor of Streetsblog Denver, where he’s covered urban transportation and development for three and a half years. He’s lived in Denver for seven years and is interested in the science of cities and how public policy affects the people and places that make them what they are.
He also asked me to say that he’s had a crush on Denverite for a long time.
The feeling is mutual, of course, and we’re excited for David to start in about two weeks. We’ll take some time then for a more in-depth introduction, as we did with Donna Bryson earlier this week.
Until then, be sure to sign up for the Denverite newsletter so we can deliver David’s work straight to your inbox when he gets started. And drop by our belated second birthday party this Thursday if you’d like to meet him out in the real world. You can buy tickets here.
