Stop me if you’ve heard this before: Home prices in the Denver area are up.

According to a new report from RE/MAX, prices have risen more than 40 percent since 2012, when the average median price sold was $228,864. It was $401,550 last year, up 7.8 percent from 2017’s $372,462.

Denver was among 53 metro areas across the country included in the real estate giant’s national housing report for December. Nationally, RE/MAX found the increase in prices was slowing, but December was nonetheless the 33rd consecutive month of year-over-year increases.
