Denver police officers are investigating a shooting at a Clayton house that sent a 6-year-old boy to the hospital.
Someone shot the boy at about 12:35 a.m. Friday, police spokesman Sonny Jackson said, adding that more than one shooter was probably involved. He could not say whether the crime was a drive-by or gang-related because the investigation is ongoing.
The young victim's prognosis is positive, police said.
No one else was shot during the incident, Jackson said.
Police are still searching for the suspects. If you know anything, officers ask that you call (720) 913-7867. Tipsters can remain anonymous.
