The Denver Police Department said it's investigating a fatal shooting in the 300 block of Broadway.
The two adult victims -- a man and a woman -- were transported to the hospital. The man was pronounced dead and the woman remains in critical condition.
An adult man is in custody.
DPD said 5th and Broadway is closed to traffic.
A few blocks away in December a gunman killed Sol Tribe Tattoo and Piercing owner Alicia Cardenas and tattoo artist Alyssa Gunn-Maldonado before continuing on a shooting spree that would leave multiple people, including the gunman, dead.
