Five injured in LoDo shooting Saturday night, no arrests made yet

DPD says the suspect’s motive is unclear.

Denver police are investigating a shooting in Lower Downtown that left five people injured late Saturday night.

The late-night shooting occurred on the 1900 block of Market Street, near Dierk Bentley’s Whiskey Row and the Jaguar Room. All five victims were transported to the hospital and are expected to live.

As of Sunday morning, Denver police have not arrested the suspect, and aren’t sure of their motives. A spokesperson with the department could not confirm if there was an ongoing threat to the public.

“At this point, we are just trying to gather more information to determine that. We ask anyone with information to call us to better understand why this occurred,” the spokesperson said.
