Updated Jan. 24: Airport officials say the trains at Denver International Airport that transport passengers from the main terminal to Concourses A, B and C are back up and running on schedule.

Read more about what caused the delays throughout Tuesday here.

If you're flying out of Denver International Airport today, wear comfortable shoes, stretch and prepare to wait.

The trains from the main terminal to gates A,B and C are facing "technical issues" and are running at limited capacity. That's causing some serious delays for passengers trying to make their flights. Officials are advising passengers to arrive 30 minutes earlier than they normally would, but some passengers say they've been waiting longer than that to reach the concourses.

DIA first reported the delays around 8 a.m. According to the airport's X account, shuttle buses are being used to move passengers between concourses.

A DIA spokesperson said engineers are working on the issue, but the slowdown is expected to last throughout the day.

This is a developing story. Denverite reporter Rebecca Tauber contributed reporting.
