By Cassidy Ritter, Special to Denverite
The weekend has arrived, and with it comes Juneteenth and Father’s Day!
Celebrate Juneteenth in Denver’s Five Points neighborhood with a parade and music festival. The Blair-Caldwell African American Research Library is also hosting Juneteenth Double Dutch lessons on Saturday.
Don’t forget to call the dads, grandpas and influential men in your life on Sunday for Father’s Day. For those looking to honor the fellas in your life, consider swinging by a brewery, attending a Rockies game, scoping out helicopters and planes at Wings Over The Rockies or stopping by Popcorn with Pops in Sterling Ranch.
It’s also the last weekend to catch Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Buell Theatre. Plus, Pride celebrations continue with more happenings found here.
Whatever you do, make it a great weekend!
