The Kmart building along South Broadway is expected to be scrapped to make way for 340-350 new apartments, the property manager said Monday.

Sears Holdings Corp. plans to close two Kmarts in Colorado including the store at 363 S. Broadway in Denver.

Sears Holdings told employees last week that its closing 64 Kmart stores across 28 states.
