A decade ago, Donald Trump sought the simpler pleasure of fixing up Union Station for $1 billion. But it sounds like he didn't get very far, as Westword Editor Patricia Calhoun reports that his team's six-paragraph proposal was deemed "non-responsive."
That wasn't Trump's last foray into Denver real estate, and Calhoun got the details on another $22 million deal for a 60-story or higher building.
"Trump came back with a plan to construct the tallest building in town, one filled with a luxury hotel and condos, right at the corner of 18th Avenue and Sherman Street."
Of course, that didn't happen, either.
