Denver police shoot man Sunday night in Park Hill neighborhood

Denver police shot and injured a man Sunday during a gunfire exchange in the Park Hill neighborhood.

The police department tweeted about the shooting near Olive Street and East 33rd Avenue shortly before 10:15 p.m. The unidentified man was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No officers were injured.

Fox31 reports the shooting happened at about 9:30 p.m. after officers made a traffic stop and two men fled the vehicle. Officers chased the suspects through the neighborhood. One suspect was found and shots were fired. The other suspect was taken into custody.
