Robbie Hummel, a 6’9″ forward with a history of injuries, has signed a two-year deal with the Denver Nuggets, according to a tweet from GoldandBlack.com, which covers athletics at Purdue University, Hummel’s alma mater.

Hummel played two seasons with the Minnesota Timberwolves and spent part of last season playing in Italy.

Hummel has been trying to work his way back into the NBA, and would still have competition ahead of him to earn a regular-season roster spot with the Nuggets.

We’ll update this post when there’s official word.
