The centerpiece of the in-the-works Stanley Marketplace is almost ready to welcome guests.

Stanley Beer Hall should be open by late September or early October, bringing a traditional beer hall with rustic, French-inspired food to the old Stanley Aviation building.

The beer hall will be run by 5280 Hospitality, along with Denver chef Theo Adley (currently of RiNo Yacht Club, formerly of the Squeaky Bean). It will have 30 draft lines with 25-28 rotating beers primarily from Colorado and the West Coast. It'll also have cocktails on tap and cold-brew coffee from local roasters.

“We’re aiming to create a Colorado beer garden,” Dustin Skudlarek, founder of 5280 Consulting and 5280 Hospitality, said in a press release. “We’re lucky enough to be located amongst so many amazing brewers, and we want to showcase what’s happening in Colorado’s craft beer scene. Our food options will be designed for Colorado diners as well; we want Stanley Beer Hall to be a place where people feel good about eating two or three times a week, so we’ll take a fresh approach to conventional expectations for a beer hall.”

The idea for Stanley Marketplace, 2501 Dallas St., started with some Stapleton residents who wanted to open a local beer garden. It's since evolved into a massive market akin to The Source in RiNo, with 100,000 square feet and 22 acres of businesses.

Stanley Beer Hall will occupy 9,000 of those square feet with communal tables, a concrete slab bar, an open kitchen, green space with lawn games and art created from the original electric boxes at Stanley Aviation. Two large, overhead doors can open up to create a sort of indoor/outdoor space.
