Denver cop accused of pointing loaded gun at colleagues

Anselmo Jaramillo, 46, has been charged with two counts of prohibited use of weapons, a misdemeanor, following an alleged incident at Denver police headquarters, according to the Denver District Attorney’s Office.

Jaramillo is accused of placing his loaded handgun on a desk on Sept. 18 and maneuvering it “so that it was aimed at two other officers,” according to a news release from DA Mitch Morrissey’s office

Jaramillo is a sergeant, according to Lynn Kimbrough, a spokesperson for the office.
