The Broncos remembered how to run the ball, and they’re up on the Texans at halftime

CHRISTIAN-lighter

Life is a lot easier for everyone on a football team when you can rush the football effectively. The Denver Broncos’ offense, which struggled in the team’s two-game losing streak, showed us this lesson in the first half against the Houston Texans.

C.J. Anderson ran seven times for 54 yards and a touchdown, seen above, and Devontae Booker had six carries for 42 yards. Their combined line: 13 carries, 96 yards at 7.4 yards a pop.

Denver leads Houston 14-6.

Trevor Siemian is 10 for 16 for 162 yards and a touchdown.

Texans quarterback Brock Osweiler, meanwhile, is just 9 for 17 for 46 yards. Yuck.
