Now they know. On Sunday, the No. 2 seed Rapids will face the No. 3 seed Los Angeles Galaxy.

The teams will play two games in the Western Conference Semifinals to determine who advances. The first game is Sunday in Los Angeles, and the second game is Nov. 6 at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park.

Los Angeles beat Real Salt Lake 3-1 on Wednesday night to advance.

The Rapids and the Galaxy played three times during the regular season. Colorado won the first one, while the second and third matches were ties.
