Update 3:20 p.m. According to Denver police spokesman Doug Schepman, a fight involving multiple people broke out at 2:12 p.m. in a parking lot on the 1600 block of Champa Street and ended with two people getting shot.

The suspects might have boarded a bus. Two people have been detained but not arrested.

“The increased presence of officers in the ‘walk the beat’ program … were able to get to the area extremely quickly … and detain them extremely quickly,” Schepman said.
