Colorado Buffaloes soccer player Danica Evans was taken by the Orlando Pride in the National Women’s Soccer League draft Thursday.

The Pride used their third-round pick to select Evans, a forward who scored 11 goals and recorded six assists her senior season at Colorado. She was named first-team all-Pac-12 in 2016.

Earlier this month, Evans earned a spot on the U-23 United States Women’s National Team camp roster.

Evans’ selection means the Buffaloes have churned out nearly 10 women’s soccer players who’ve gone on to have professional careers.
