Three changes make Denver’s 2017 Tour de Fat sound less fun

Last week, we reported about the details of this year’s Tour de Fat, but it’s time to reflect on what this year’s changes mean.

And an informal survey of internet opinions suggest that most of the changes are bad.

1. You have to pay $25 to get in.

Reason that’s not good: In the past, it’s been free.

2. There’s no bike parade

Reason that’s not good: It’s a tradition that people enjoyed.

Would you like to do this? You won’t be able to.

I forgot to post our costumes from tdf. Derp #tourdefatdenver

3. It’s being held in the National Western Stock Show Complex

Reason that’s not good: City Park, the traditional Denver location, is a place that people are comfortable biking to.
