Ok sure, protests in Colorado since Trump's inauguration have been tapering off. But when you count them all up, we have one of the highest attendance rates per capita, according to Count Love, a project summarizing protests across the country since January 16.
All told, Colorado has seen roughly 33 demonstrators per thousand residents, according to news summaries compiled by Project Love. It's not a perfect overview of activity -- for example, they didn't catch this Denver protest in their roundup -- but it's still a good look at a broad national phenomenon.
OK, so which states are taking to the streets more than Colorado? Vermont had 40 demonstrators per thousand residents and D.C. -- a destination location for protests -- had 1,324 demonstrators per thousand residents. (Yes, D.C. is not a state and yes, they have demonstrations about that.)
The project is ongoing so if attendance continues to slip, presumably Colorado's ranking in Project Love will fall as well.
