We have a start time for this year's installment of the Rocky Mountain Showdown. The Colorado and Colorado State football teams will face each other at 6 p.m. Sept. 1 at Sports Authority Field at Mile High Stadium.

The game, which is the 89th meeting between the Buffaloes and Rams, will be broadcast on the Pac-12 Network.

Colorado plays its first game in Boulder the following week against against Texas State. That game is scheduled for noon on Sept. 9 at Folsom Field. The Buffaloes play their third game of the season against Northern Colorado at noon on Sept. 16 at Folsom Field.

Colorado's first three games now have set start times and TV broadcast networks. When and where the Buffaloes remaining regular season games will air has yet to be determined.

Colorado State opens its season against Oregon State at 1 p.m. Aug. 26 in a game that will air on the CBS Sports Network. On Sept. 16, the Rams will face Alabama on the road at 5 p.m. in a game that will be broadcast either on ESPN or ESPN 2.

Colorado State will also play nationally televised games vs. Nevada on Oct. 14 and at New Mexico on Oct. 20. Those games will be shown on an ESPN network to be determined and ESPN 2, respectively.
